SMSC’s LAN9420 is a full-featured 10/100 PCI Ethernet Controller which allows for simple and cost-effective integration of Fast Ethernet into a PCI-based system. The LAN9420 incorporates a PCI 3.0-compliant interface, scatter-gather DMA Engine, Checksum Offload Engine and 10/100 Ethernet MAC/PHY in a single-chip solution. LAN9420 provides full IEEE 802.3 compliance and supports full/half-duplex 10 BASE-T and 100 BASE-TX. An industrial temperature range -40º to 85ºC option is available (LAN9420i).
