Names Titan Logistics Corp. as Provider of North American
Services
Strengthens
Customer Service Program with EDI Ordering and Streamlined
Delivery of Products
Camarillo,
CA — January 16, 2003 — Vitesse Semiconductor
Corporation (Nasdaq:VTSS) today announced the availability
of logistic services to its customers in North America
through a service contract with Titan Logistics Corp.
Focused on the needs of the OEM (original equipment manufacturers),
EMS (electronic manufacturing services) and CM (contract
manufacturers) communities, Vitesse and Titan Logistics
will provide dedicated resources and broaden the services
offered to these customers. New services include: EDI
order processing; purchase order tracking and management
system; demand forecasting of inventory requirements;
multi-user and VMI programs; and efficient fulfillment
procedures. Titan Logistics will also provide warehousing
of Vitesse products from its facilities located in New
York. Services will be available beginning in March 2003.
