Partnership Agreement

Minneapolis, Minn. and Melville, New York — July 8, 2003 — Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC),

and Logic Product Development (Logic), a world-class

today announced a global partnership agreement whereby
Logic will provide third-party software and hardware
development support and cost-effective, competitive
embedded platform solutions (EPS) for Nu Horizons customers.
Logic has developed embedded platform solutions to accelerate time-to-market
for Microcontroller (MCU) and System-on-Chip (SoC) customers
by providing access to “product-ready” hardware and
software development tools that support the ARM-based
technologies from Sharp Microelectronics and SuperH®
based technologies from Renesas, two of Nu Horizons leading franchised suppliers. Logic's embedded solutions reduce
product development time, cost, and risk - enabling
customers to focus on delivering innovative solutions
to their marketplace. The EPS products include Application
Development Kits, compact Card Engines (embedded computing
modules/single board computers), and software Board
Support Packages (BSPs) for Windows® CE, Linux, and
other RTOS, which allow for immediate application development.
