Semiconductor Extends Distribution Agreement with Nu Horizons into India
Partnership Expansion Addresses Regionalized Service Requirements

Jose, CA and Melville, NY - May 5, 2004 - Pericom
Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEM), a worldwide
preferred supplier of high-performance integrated circuits
and frequency control products, and Nu Horizons Electronics
Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC), a leading distributor of high technology
active components, today announced the expansion of their
global service and market distribution agreement to include
the country of India. This agreement extends the existing
relationship between Pericom and Nu Horizons within the
Americas.

The
Pericom distribution program will be managed by Nu Horizons
from the company's existing regional facilities in Bangalore
and New Delhi. In addition to demand creation and engineering
support, the distribution of all Pericom interface, logic
and silicon timing devices, will also be managed locally
from both locations.
