NY - September 14, 2005 - Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC), a leading
distributor of advanced technology active components and system solutions, recently
received Sun Microsystems' Fastest Growing Channel Development Partner (CDP) designation.
This achievement, for outstanding revenue and design win growth year over year
estimated at 115 percent and 130 percent last year respectively, was presented
during Sun's Grow America Tour in New York City.
Nu
Horizons has been a Sun original equipment manufacturer (OEM) market distributor
for eight years and Sun's U.S. and Canadian OEM-CDP for three years. In addition
to distributing Sun's extensive array of systems, components and storage solutions
to the OEM market, Nu Horizons also resells Sun's complete software portfolio
including the Sun Solaris 10 Operating System, Sun Java Enterprise
System; Sun Java Desktop System; and Sun Studio Development Tools including Sun
Java Studio.
