Global Partnership Agreement for Distribution of Frequency Control Products

Melville, NY and Lynnwood, WA — September 13, 2006 — Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC), a leading global distributor of advanced technology semiconductor, display and system solutions; and Pletronics, Inc., recently announced their global partnership agreement for the distribution of Pletronics crystal and oscillator frequency control products.

Pletronics’ products service multiple markets which include: industrial, consumer, automotive, communications, telecom, and instrumentation.  Pletronics frequency control products (crystals and oscillators) include: PECL, LVDS, CMOS and TTL, Crystal Clock Oscillators (XO); Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXO,), Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators (TCXO, (V) TCXO) and Oven Compensated Crystal Oscillators (OCXO).
