Nu Horizons Electronics Continues Expansion Throughout Asia Pacific with
Additional Sales Locations Opening in China, India and Vietnam
SINGAPORE - 21 May 2008 – Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC), a leading global distributor of advanced technology semiconductor, illumination and power solutions; today announced the recent opening of several new sales locations in the Asia Pacific region. The offices, located in Hangzhou, China; Chennai, India; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were opened as an additional level of support for Nu Horizons new and growing customer base within this region, and as part of the company’s ongoing APAC expansion plans.
“Hangzhou is one of the most active and dynamic electronics hubs in China,” said AK Tan, regional vice president of Greater China of Nu Horizons. “By adding sales and engineering resources in Hangzhou, it will enable us to better serve our customers in the Eastern China market.”
