Nu Horizons Electronics Named Most Preferred Distributor in China for Third Consecutive Year

Melville, NY- June 18, 2008 – China’s most influential electronics industry magazine, Electronics Supply & Manufacturing, China (ESMC) has named Nu Horizons Electronics (NASDAQ:  NUHC) the 2008 ESMC Reader’s Most Preferred Overseas Distributor in its annual Electronics Distributor Survey, representing the third consecutive year Nu Horizons has been recognized in the electronics component distribution industry in mainland China.

Conducted annually by ESMC, the objectives of the survey are to study the preference and selection processes of China’s electronic manufacturing companies in selecting a distributor.   Commenced in early January and ended March this year, the survey has received 1,200 qualified survey answers from senior managements and purchasing professionals of more than 300 EMS, OEM/ODM companies from all parts of China.  The award honors Nu Horizons extensive product offering, strong sales coverage and supply capacity, good product quality and long established company reputation. 

The award was presented at Global Sources office in Shenzhen, China on June 5 and was attended by key personnel from China’s leading OEM/ESM companies.
