Marvell DSP Switcher™ integrated regulators form the core of the industry’s smallest and highest-performance step-down (buck) power supply. Unequaled efficiency, precision and transient response are accompanied by smallest solution size to provide system designers with enhanced form factor and battery life in power conscious applications. Integration of power MOSFET’s, internal frequency compensation and single resistor output programming reduce design effort and increase system reliability. Outputs voltages of 0.72V-3.63V with current levels up to 10A are supported with input voltages of 3.0V-5.5V or 8 to 14 volts.

The Marvell DSP Switcher™ family of products are the industry’s smallest and highest performance general purpose, step-down buck integrated switching regulators. They are available in single output and dual output versions. The primary output is a high-performance integrated switching regulator and the secondary output (on dual output devices) is an LDO controller. Minimal external component count simplifies system design and reduces solution size. This family of devices are well suited to powering a wide range of loads from small ASIC’s in handheld equipment to power-hungry processors in portable computers.
