Horizons Electronics to Distribute Galileo Technology

JOSE, CA and MELVILLE, NEW YORK (MARCH 13, 2000) Galileo Technology (Nasdaq: GALT) and Nu Horizons
Electronics today announced the signing of an agreement
through which Nu Horizons becomes an authorized distributor
for Galileos high performance, data communications
controllers and WAN interface devices.
According
to Dave Bowers, Sr. Vice President of Marketing for Nu
Horizons, We are excited about our new relationship
with Galileo as it supports our vision of becoming the
lead semiconductor distributor in supporting the rapidly
growing Broadband Communications market. Bowers continues,
Galileo is an absolute leader in the rapidly growing
converged voice/data communications markets and their
GalNet Ò-II, GalNet-2+, GalNet-3 and HorizonTM
product families in particular open a lot of doors for
us. We have assigned an engineering task force to become
Galileo experts to provide a high level of engineering
support in all major markets.
