Technologies Pan-Asian Distribution Agreement with Nu Horizons Extends Existing Relationship

Keynes, United Kingdom 4 September, 2003 - C&D Technologies has strengthened its support for
ongoing growth in the Asian electronics sector with the
signing of Nu Horizons Electronics Asia Pte Ltd. as a
franchised distributor for the companys Power Electronics
Division. The new appointment - which extends an existing
and successful relationship between the two companies
in North America reflects the importance of the
demand creation distribution model in growing C&Ds
sales in the region.
Under
the terms of the new agreement, Nu Horizons will deliver
and support C&D products across Asia from its offices
in China, India, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore. The distributor
will offer the full C&D Technologies line-up of power
supplies, DC/DC converters, and magnetic products for
the telecommunications, office equipment, industrial automation
and instrumentation markets.
