Nu Horizons Announces Multi-City OEM Business Forums Featuring Sun Microsystems
Forums Focused on Innovation, Secure Access, Environmental Compliance and Multi-Platform Interoperability for OEM Application Systems and Embedded Technology

Melville, NY - October 25, 2004 - Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC), a leading distributor of high technology active components, today announced the launch of multi-city OEM Business Forums featuring Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW), a world-leading provider of industrial-strength hardware, software and services. Each forum is focused on critical industry issues, such as innovation, secure access, environmental compliance and multi-platform interoperability, specifically targeted for any business unit engaged in OEM application of systems and embedded technology.

The rollout of these multi-city forums commences in Rochester, NY on Wednesday, October 27, with seminars in Minneapolis, MN and Chicago, IL designated for the first week of December. Plans for the first quarter of 2005 include forums in the cities of San Jose, Denver and Boston.
