LED Test and Evaluation
With their in-house test fixtures, LED Specialists can evaluate available LEDs to determine the best fit for your application. This includes testing for flux (Lumens), Illuminance (Lux), color coordinates (CIE), Correlated Color Temperature (CCT), Color Rendering Index (CRI), luminance (cd/m2), spectrum and temperature testing for thermal characteristics. LED Specialists have many years of experience testing and conducting environmental qualification programs to military, aerospace, commercial, and European Union standards.
Electrical Design
LED Specialists have translated high-level specifications into complete electrical designs optimizing the trade-offs between performance, cost, size, and reliability. Typical performance considerations include electrical load, load faults, input power sources, power factor, current harmonics, and environmental factors such as temperature, spikes, surges, and transients. Designs routinely include features like dimming, color control, temperature compensation and optical feedback. LED Specialists has experience in dealing with and obtaining regulatory approvals such as UL/FCC/CSA/CE approval.
