Marvell offers simple to use synchronous Step-Down (Buck) switching regulators. They require no external compensation and work with low-ESR output capacitors to simplify the design, minimize the board space, and reduce the amount of external components. Their high switching frequency allows the use of low profile surface mount inductors and low value capacitors.
