USPIIe-USB Single Board Computers
 
Themis Computer's new USPIIe-USB is a family of high-performance VMEbus computer boards based on the advanced Sun® Microsystems 64-bit embedded SPARC superscalar processors. The USPIIe-USB provides users with 550-MHz, 600 MHz, and 650-MHz UltraSPARC¿ RISC processing performance options, and Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 compatibility. These high-speed VME 64-bit architecture boards offer users configuration options that deliver maximum I/O flexibility and performance. Designed for configuration flexibility and high performance, the USPIIe-USB combines the latest 650-MHz 64-bit UltraSPARC® IIi processors with a local PCI bus (PMC) peripheral controller slot and a high performance bridge. The USPIIe-USB is available in one-slot, two-slot, and three-slot configurations. Each of the USPIIe-USB models includes a high performance VME64 interface, dual Ultra2 LVD (80-MB/sec) SCSI ports, up to two 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, and up to six RS-232 serial ports. The affordable USPIIe-USB/1 single-slot model features a compact 6U form factor, low power dissipation, and flexibility for embedded computing applications. The USPIIe-USB/2P2 model facilitates I/O expansion in a two-VME slot configuration. The USPIIe-USB/2P3 is a doublewide configuration providing users three additional PMC slots without the expansion features of the USPIIe-USB/2P2 configuration.
 
 
USPIIIi Multiprocessing VMEbus Computers
 
The USPIIIi from Themis Computer is a new high-performance family of single- and dual-processor SPARC®-based VMEbus computers for military, telecommunications, and embedded processing applications. Featuring a new system architecture with 1.28 GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors and dual 160-MB/s ultra-SCSI ports, the USPIIIi is designed to provide users the industry's best data bandwidth, 2-way scalability, and server class I/O. The USPIIIi leverages Themis' USPIIe-USB product family, and may be configured with either one or two UltraSPARC IIIi CPUs. The single-processor configuration consists of an I/O board and a CPU board assembly occupying two VME slots. A dual-processor configuration occupies three VME slots. Each USPIIIi CPU has a local SMP readable 4-GB memory, both processors of a dual-processor configuration can access up to 8-GB of memory. The USPIIIi provides excellent Sun® graphics support. The optional Themis TGA3D+ incorporates Sun XVR-500 graphics technologies and is supported by the Solaris Operating Environment. An Ultra160 SCSI interface is used to support the increased bandwidth of today's high-performance LVD SCSI devices; while automatic backward-compatibility modes protect your investment by assuring that earlier single-ended SCSI devices will continue to function properly.
 
 
USPIIe-cPCI Single-Board Computers
 

Themis' USPIIe-cPCI Single Board Computer leverages the memory and performance features of its highly successful USPIIe product family. Themis Computer has combined its USPIIe technology with the new CompactPCI standards to provide Solaris users the next generation solution for their demanding applications. The USPIIe-cPCI is a 6U form factor cPCI plug-in card featuring a full set of I/O and includes a PMC expansion slot in a single-slot cPCI form factor. The USPIIe-cPCI will support up to seven "peripheral" slots in its cPCI compliant 64-bit/ 33MHz/5V expansion bus. Designed to be inserted in the system slot of a cPCI backplane/midplane (cPSB), the USPIIe-cPCI complies with the PICMG 2.0 R3.0 cPCI specifications, the PICMG 2.1 R1.0 cPCI Hot Swap Specifications, and meets the requirements set forth in the PICMG 2.16 D0.9.1 cPCI Packet Switching Backplane (PSB) specification. The USPIIe-cPCI provides users an ideal solution for Voice-over-IP (VoIP), third generation wireless and switch-fabric applications.

 
 
TGA3D+ Graphics Accelerator
 
The new TGA3D+ is a high performance graphics accelerator for the USPIIe-USB single-board computer. The TGA3D+ features onboard 3-D geometry acceleration, high-resolution 24-bit 2-D support, and Sun Solaris compatibility. The TGA3D+ is ideal for applications that require a high performance 3-D solution with hardware-based texture mapping, and provides graphics capabilities well beyond the reach of PMC form factor graphics adapters. Themis' TGA3D+ adapter is a high performance COTS solution for use in command and control systems, geotechnical, high-end MCAD, visualization and simulation applications. The TGA3D+ is based on Sun Microsystems XVR-500 graphics controller, insuring software compatibility with applications running on Sun workstations and servers. The TGA3D+ fits on a single 6U form-factor VME board. All graphics components, including the geometry processor, raster engine and PCI interface are included on the single slot board. The TGA3D+ board also includes a PMC slot, to host a PMC based graphics board, such as Peritek's Eclipse3, thus achieving dual head graphics capability in a single VMEbus slot (2 slots including the USPIIe baseboard).
 
 
T-210i Telco Servers
 
The new T-210i is Themis smallest server for Internet, telecommunications and wireless applications. Incorporating fast Intel® Pentium® 4 processors and 845GE chipset technologies, the T-210i delivers high performance and reliability in extended operating environments - temperatures of 0° 50° C and shock loads of 10G. Designed in an efficient 19 rackmountable chassis, the T-210i is a single processor server. The T-210i system board is connected to a 400/533 MHz Front Side Bus and supports up to 2GB DDR333 SDRAM memory. The T-210i features Intel Extreme Graphics, audio, GB Ethernet, fast 2.0 USB ports and a PCI slot for additional I/O. The system's modular design is easily expanded with commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options to meet current and future system requirements. Themis Intel-based servers support a broad range of solutions on a variety of operating systems, including Windows®, Linux, and Solaris® 9 x86, providing users with the flexibility required for their demanding applications. The 2RU T-210i chassis measures 3.5" high by 10.0" deep, by 16.4" wide, excluding rack slides and flanges.
 
 
TGA-100 Graphics Adapter
 
Themis Computer's new TGA-100¿ graphics accelerator is a high-performance, low-cost, graphics accelerator. Offered in a PMC form factor, the TGA-100 is compatible with Sun Microsystems XVR-100 graphics processing board and operates with Themis new USPIIIi VMEbus computer and USPIIe-USB single-board-computer products. The TGA-100 provides users in Solaris and Linux®-based environments high screen resolutions, up to 1920 x 1200, while displaying up to 16.7 million colors. Themis new TGA-100 boards are designed for use with analog CRT, flatpanel and 3-wire Sync-On-Green analog monitors. A DVI connector provides support for PanelLink compatible displays. Monitors can be attached to both video connectors for dual display applications. Providing native Solaris support and Sun XVR-100 compatibility in a PMC form factor, the TGA-100 is an ideal replacement for PMC graphics boards used in other operating environments.
 
 
RES-22XEL Servers
 
The RES-22XEL dual-processor system delivers the robust design of Themis' Rugged Enterprise Server (RES) family in a low-cost, 2RU (Rack Unit) chassis. The Intel® technology-based system is designed for demanding aerospace and military applications. The rugged, expandable RES-22XEL reflects Themis Computer's extensive experience expertise in designing high performance systems for use in demanding operating environments. The RES-22XEL is Themis' most compact dual Xeon® system in a 2RU, 20" deep chassis. Combining Intel Xeon processor and Intel E7505 chipset technologies with Themis' proprietary thermal and mechanical design techniques, the RES-22XEL delivers outstanding performance, flexibility and reliability. The RES-22XEL's single or dual Intel Xeon processors are connected to a 533/400-MHz Front Side bus. This modular system combines an 8X/4X AGP expansion slot with two horizontal PCI-X / PCI slots, two removable SCSI drives and a CD-RW/DVD drive. The RES-22XEL is the only system in its size that features a 8X/4X AGP graphics slot, enabling the system to provide graphics performance beyond the capabilities of similar systems with on-board AGP graphics support. The system's dual Intel Xeon processors and a 533 MHz system bus, provides up to 4.3GB/s of available bandwidth. To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, Themis designed the new systems to withstand shock loads of 25 G @ 12-40 ms (MIL-901D). Themis RES-22XEL servers support a broad range of solutions on a variety of operating systems, including Windows®, Linux, and Solaris® 9 x86, providing users with the flexibility required for their demanding applications. The 2RU RES-22XEL chassis measures 3.5" high by 20.0" deep, by 16.8" wide, excluding rack slides and flanges.
 
 
RES-32XEL Servers
 
The RES-32XEL, Themis Computer's new 3RU (Rack Unit) dual-processor server/workstation, combines the robust design of Themis' Rugged Enterprise Server family with five PCI/PCI-X slots and storage expandability. The rugged RES-32XEL reflects Themis Computer's extensive expertise designing high performance systems for use in demanding environments. This new system combines proven Intel® Xeon® processor, Intel E7505 chipset, and Zero-Channel (Adaptec 2010S) RAID technologies with Themis' proprietary thermal and mechanical design techniques to achieve superior I/O configuration flexibility and performance. The RES-32XEL is offered in configurations that provide users maximum I/O flexibility and high performance. The RES-32XEL can be configured with single or dual high-speed Intel Xeon processors, up to 3.2GHz, connecting to a 533/400-MHz Front Side bus. With an 8X/4X AGP expansion slot and a wealth of I/O and storage options, the system's modular design allows users versatile configurability and system expansion. The RES-32XEL is easily expanded through the addition of commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options to meet current and future system requirements. To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, the RES-32XEL is designed to withstand shock loads of 25 G @ 12-40 ms (MIL-901D). Themis RES-32XEL servers support a broad range of solutions on a variety of operating systems, including Windows®, Linux, and Solaris® 9 x86, providing users with the flexibility required for their demanding applications. The 3RU RES-32XEL chassis measures 5.25" high by 20.0" deep, by 17.1" wide, excluding rack slides and flanges.
 
 
 
The new USPIIe-Gb high performance VMEbus Single-Board Computers (SBCs) builds on Themis highly successful USPIIe-USB product family and is differentiated by dual Gigabit Ethernet and Ultra160 SCSI interfaces. Based on the Sun® Microsystems 64-bit UltraSPARC® processors, the USPIIe-Gb supports 64-bit Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 operating environments, providing users with even higher performance for their demanding Solaris software applications.The USPIIe-Gb integrates the 64-bit UltraSPARC® IIi+ processor with a local PCI bus (PMC) peripheral controller slot, and a high performance bridge. Designed for the highest level of configuration flexibility and performance, the USPIIe-Gb supports graphics through a PMC slot via Themis¿ TGA-100 graphics card or a PCI-based TGA3D+ graphics card. The TGA3D+ uses one additional VMEbus slot and provides one additional PMC slot. The USPIIe-Gb/1 is a single-slot configuration that has low power dissipation, and high flexibility for embedded computing applications. The USPIIe-Gb/2P2 two-slot configuration offers significant I/O expansion options, including two additional PMC slots. The USPIIe-Gb/2P3 is a two-slot configuration providing users three additional PMC slots without the expansion features of the USPIIe-Gb/2P2 configuration.

Themis new RES-32s dual-processor server delivers the robust design features of Themis Rugged Enterprise Server (RES) family in an efficient, three rack unit (3RU) chassis. The RES-32s is a high performance dual SMP system design, ideal for use in mission critical applications. Combining the Sun Blade 2500 design with Themis proprietary thermal and mechanical design techniques, the RES-32s is distinguished by its ruggedized design, reliable operation in high shock and vibration environments, and six 64-bit PCI slots. Featuring the Sun Microsystems 1.28GHz UltraSPARC® IIIi processor, the RES-32s provides OEMs and systems integrators a space efficient server ready for fast integration into mission-critical applications. Designed for deployment in demanding environments, the RES-32s can withstand shock loads of 25G. The RES-32s flexible design provides six vertical PCI slots, two hot swappable SCSI drives, CD-RW/DVD drive, and an optional DDS tape. Themis new RES-32s supports either a Sun XVR-100 graphics adaptor, XVR-600 graphics adaptor or a XVR-1200 high performance graphics card, enabling the system to provide outstanding 3-D graphics performance. The 3RU RES-32s chassis measures 8.75" high by 20.0" deep, by 17.1" wide, excluding rack slides and flanges.
